As we broke the news to you FIRST before, Faber Drive's lead guitarist, David Hinsley left the group.
Well, sources confirm to ZackTaylor.ca that he has been replaced by Zubin Thakkar from the band, Prize Fighter!!
The band is currently in the studio recording their second album.
ZackTaylor.ca can exclusively report that Canadian rock group, Faber Drive have lost ANOTHER member!!
Last year the band's drummer, Raymond "Red" Bull left the group after he got married, and now our sources confirm that lead guitarist, David Hinsley has left the group due to undisclosed reasons.
That leaves Faber, Krikit and replacement drummer Calvin "Poncho" Lechner in the group while they record their second studio album which is due out next year. Soon enough I feel like this band will turn from Faber Drive to just David Faber!!
I spent the whole evening last night with the boys of Faber Drive... I learnt that Krikit used to be a stripper, and found out which city the boys think have the "hottest" girls...

These guys are taking over!! 2008: The year of Faber Drive!!
As I first reported last week, Faber Drive and Brian Melo will be touring together this year!! However, our sources now inform us that Brian will only join Faber Drive for half the tour (as he cannot commit to all the dates) and than Ill Scarlett will join them for the rest... the opening act for the WHOLE TOUR will be Hello Operator!!

Isthishappening.com sources have just informed me that Canadian artists Faber Drive and Brian Melo will be touring together across Canada starting on February 21st at The Clarke Theater in Mission, BC... opening up for the concert will be non other than Hello Operator (the band we featured here just days ago!!)...
As well our sources also confirm that Faber Drive will be shooting their next video in Vancouver on Friday January 25th!! I told you - this is the year of FD!!

My favourite Canadian band, Faber Drive (been supporting them since day one) has reached the number one spot on the Much Music video countdown charts!!

One of my favourite new Canadian bands, Faber Drive, are touring around the United States and Canada right now, and I was lucky enough to speak with the drummer's (Raymond "Red" Bull) mother today. She's so proud of her son and wanted fans all over the world to know!!
This is what she had to say...
"It's kind of surreal to see your sons face in teen magazines and on T.V. and seeing the reaction the fans have towards him and the rest of the band. Of course I think he's cute too but thats my job to feel that way. How lucky can you be when you are only 21 years old, going to places like New York City, seeing alligators in Florida and meeting all kinds of wonderful people. He is making a life time of memories that only a very few people are able to accomplish. We are very proud of him."

Now this would be a good thing, and it's always good to see Canadian artists do well, BUT I fuckin hate Feist's music, and everything she stands for. And having Perez Hilton support her even shows me that those two are going to wind up losers together.
Feist cannot sing, her music sucks, and so does Perez Hilton and his silly American blog...
