2008 EMMY HIGHLIGHTS...

Earlier tonight were the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards in Hollywood and for once in my life, I didn't fall asleep during the show!! The nights big winners were Tina Fey, 30 Rock, John Adams, Jeff Probst, and Don Rickles...

A couple of my favourite parts of tonight's show were when Josh Groban sang the theme songs to some of our favourite TV shows over the last 60 years, and when Rick Gervais took to the stage and got his Emmy back!! Overall it was a good show, and hopefully The Oscars will be just as fun!! Oh, and I'm just putting this out there: Don Rickles should be next year's host - That guy is hilarious!!

Earlier tonight our HON Gossip spies caught up with Disney actress, Brenda Song on the 60th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards red-carpet... Brenda told them that she would be releasing a record next year!!

Brenda told our insiders,

"I'm currently recording a few songs, nothing is ready yet. And no I won't be joining the Cheetah Girls, but I will be releasing an album next year if all goes to plan - I'm crossing my fingers!!" 

This makes sense, considering Cheetah Girl, Adrienne Bailon is leaving the group soon!!

SARAH SILVERMAN IS F**KIN' EVERYONE!!

WHO'S HOSTING THIS YEAR'S EMMY AWARDS??

The Emmys are doing something brand new this year... The newest category for Best Reality Show Host, will have all it's five nominees co-host the entire show!!

Survivor's Jeff Probst, Project Runway's Heidi Klum, American Idol's Ryan Seacrest, Dancing with the Stars' Tom Bergeron and Deal or No Deal's Howie Mandel have all signed on to co-host the September 21st awards!!

Congratulations to one of my favourite actors, Neil Patrick Harris, who got an Emmy nod in the Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series category for his role on CBS's How I Met Your Mother... Poor Britney Spears didn't get a nod... However, Canadian Deal or No Deal host, Howie Mandel is ON the list...
